Our Medium Wood Tray candle is hand hewn and carved from a single slab of solid, sustainable mango wood making each tray slightly unique. The tray features beautifully carved handles on each end and a metal strip for the four wicks.  It's perfect for a table centerpiece.

Each candle is hand-poured in eastern North Carolina, by our experienced candle makers, with a clean-burning, US-grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil. Our distinctive fragrances are saturated with layers of nuance, complex and intricate, and are designed to evoke a particular time and place, triggered by memories and nostalgia.

Is a soy candle better than a paraffin candle? Soy wax burns cleaner and slower than paraffin, producing less soot and no petroleum byproducts. It’s also biodegradable and made from a renewable resource. The longer burn time and cleaner burn make it a preferred choice for home use.  Paraffin candles do have a longer shelf life - up to 5 years.   Soy candles are best use within 12-18 months of purchase.

What causes a candle to gutter? Guttering — when the flame flickers, smokes, or burns unevenly — is usually caused by one of a few things: a wick that hasn’t been trimmed (keep it to ¼"), drafts from air vents, fans, or open windows, or burning the candle for too short a time on the first use. For best results, allow the wax to melt to the full edge of the container on the first burn (about 2–3 hours), trim the wick before each use, and keep the candle away from drafts.
