This mango wood spice pot candle is refillable with our Candle Refill Kit.

Is it made in the USA? Yes, hand-poured in North Carolina with US-grown soy wax blend.

Is a soy candle better than a paraffin candle? Soy wax burns cleaner and slower than paraffin, producing less soot and no petroleum byproducts. It’s also biodegradable and made from a renewable resource. The longer burn time and cleaner burn make it a preferred choice for home use. Paraffin candles do have a longer shelf life - up to 5 years. Soy candles are best used within 12-18 months of purchase.

What causes a candle to gutter? Guttering, when the flame flickers, smokes, or burns unevenly, is usually caused by one of a few things: a wick that hasn’t been trimmed (keep it to ¼"), drafts from air vents, fans, or open windows, or burning the candle for too short a time on the first use. For best results, allow the wax to melt to the full edge of the container on the first burn (about 2–3 hours), trim the wick before each use, and keep the candle away from drafts.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1143/2414/files/Wooden-Spice-Pot-Hand-Poured-Soy-Scented-Candle-Lange-General-Store.png?v=1793216203
